Produced by Tetsuya Komuro, the song had a double tie-in: it was used in commercials for KOSÉ VISEE featuring Amuro herself, and for Asahi Soft Drinks’ nice One.

She performed the song at the 50th NHK Kōhaku Uta Gassen, singing together with a Black gospel choir.

It was released in 2007 as Masaharu Fukuyama’s 22nd single, “Tōkyō ni mo Attanda / Muteki no Kimi.” The song was used in a BEAUTE de KOSE “ESPRIQUE PRECIOUS” commercial, and since the tie-in was for a women’s cosmetic product, it was produced with women in their late 20s to 30s as the target audience.

From the demo stage, it underwent considerable arrangement, including the addition of irregular time signatures.
