Recommended karaoke songs for men with low voices and those good at singing in lower registers (111–120)
I love youback number

This is back number’s sixth digital single overall, released in October 2022.
It was chosen as the theme song for the NHK morning drama series “Maiagare!” The band’s vocalist, Iyori Shimizu, is known for his wonderfully rich low voice, and that charm shines through in this slow-tempo rock ballad as well.
He delivers a captivating performance with his deep tones.
Recreating this appeal in karaoke may be a special advantage for men with lower voices.
There are parts in the chorus where falsetto is used on the high notes, so pay attention to switching your vocal register and give it a try.
Hold me tight, all of meKinKi Kids

It’s a song Yoshida wrote specifically as the theme for the Fuji TV music variety show “LOVE LOVE Aishiteru,” which was hosted by KinKi Kids and Takuro Yoshida in 1996.
Since KinKi Kids later released it in 1998 as “Zenbu Dakishimete/Ao no Jidai,” it’s officially classified as a cover.
loveGen Hoshino

It’s Gen Hoshino’s ninth single overall, released on October 5, 2016.
It also served as the theme song for the TV drama “We Married as a Job!” in which Hoshino himself appeared.
The melody doesn’t focus solely on the lower register, and there’s even a brief moment in the chorus where the highest note is sung in falsetto.
But at this level, I think it’s still plenty singable for low-voiced men.
In fact, the A-melody and similar sections will likely sound even more appealing with a rich low tone, so please give it a try! When you sing it, be sure to keep that light, bouncy groove in mind.
Tonight is Boogie BackKenji Ozawa feat. Scha Dara Parr

You don’t need a particularly powerful voice or perfectly stable pitch, so even people with low voices can sing it.
The slightly tricky part is keeping an accurate rhythm.
In the rap section, use a laid-back feel with a bit of delay to emphasize the groove.
It feels good to sing while keeping the rhythm with your upper body.
MatryoshkaHachi (Hatsune Miku)

One song from Vocaloid.
Vocaloid tracks tend to have very fast tempos and high keys, so even skilled singers may find them challenging, but this song is relatively easy to sing if you lower it by one octave.
Still, be careful—the chorus is a bit high.
rainbowMasaki Suda

This was Masaki Suda’s fifth single overall, released on November 25, 2020.
It was also the theme song for the film “STAND BY ME Doraemon 2.” The song was written and composed by Huwie Ishizaki.
As for Suda’s vocals on this track, I think a man with an average vocal range could choose it for karaoke and sing it without too much strain.
In the A section, men who are good at lower notes can really show their strengths.
However, in the chorus and other parts, you’ll need a reasonably high range, so be mindful of that.
Speaking as a vocal coach, I feel there are aspects where it’s hard to say he’s singing with entirely proper technique, but that might actually work in your favor when singing it at karaoke.
Even on the official recording, that quality is effectively reflected in the musical expression.
In that sense, perhaps it’s a credit to the producer in charge.
Try singing the high notes by belting them out—even if a bit rough—without using falsetto or mixed voice.
Lights Out feat. Jeremy QuartusNulbarich

Nulbarich is a band that has gained popularity for its stylish musicality.
The band name is pronounced “Narubaricchi” (Nulbarich).
Their signature sound incorporates elements of Black music such as neo-soul and R&B, and they consistently release sophisticated, slightly ennui-tinged tracks.
Among Nulbarich’s songs, a particularly recommended one is “Lights Out feat.
Jeremy Quartus.” It’s a neo-soul number with strong jazz and hip-hop flavors, sung within a narrow vocal range throughout.
Because the vocal line’s dynamics are very gentle, even teenage boys whose voices tend to be unstable should be able to sing it without trouble.
