Youthful AmigoShuji and Akira

This is a handsome duo formed by Tomohisa Yamashita and Kazuya Kamenashi, brought together by co-starring in the drama “Nobuta wo Produce.” The chorus choreography is unique yet easy to imitate, which made it hugely popular especially among high school and college students, and many people still sing and dance to it at karaoke.
milk teaMasaharu Fukuyama

Since it’s a Masaharu Fukuyama song known for its rich, deep low range, if sung well, it might be one of the best choices for men with lower voices to really shine.
Throughout the piece, I don’t think there are any spots that will be a problem even if you’re not good at high notes.
However, because it has a ballad-like feel, try to sing each word of the lyrics carefully with as gentle a tone as possible.
For the occasional higher notes, avoid belting—letting them out softly and lightly will help you capture the mood even better.
SaudadePorno Graffitti

For PornoGraffitti, their early masterpiece that earned them their first No.
1 on the Oricon charts and their first million-seller was Saudade, released in 2000! The song makes full use of the Latin-flavored sound that has become almost synonymous with them today and has won popularity across generations, so when they performed it on THE FIRST TAKE in 2021, it created a huge buzz.
It’s also a karaoke favorite, and you’ll see when you actually try singing it that the combination of Latin and Japanese kayōkyoku styles is excellent and makes it very easy to sing.
Practice while paying attention to the slightly fast-paced parts and the key change in the latter half!
Eine KleineKenshi Yonezu

It’s a song by Kenshi Yonezu included on his first major-label album, YANKEE.
The album was released in April 2014.
Since its release, the track has become one of Yonezu’s signature long-selling songs.
The vocal melody is relatively simple, so even people who aren’t confident singers may find it easy to sing.
However, to deliver the song well, the key seems to be how you handle rests and the timing between phrases.
If possible, write out the lyrics and mark your breath points, where to stop the voice, and where to cut off notes, then practice with those notes in mind.
Long Hope PhiliaMasaki Suda

Recommended for those who want to choose an easy-to-sing song from among the popular hits! Masaki Suda, a hugely popular actor, is also active as an artist.
This song stays mostly in a low vocal range and the rhythm isn’t difficult, so it’s a great pick.
The singing style in this track is quite distinctive, so if you try imitating it, you can get even closer to the real thing.
Love will winKAN

By now, it’s a hit that’s practically treated as a classic cheer song, so most people have probably heard it at least once.
It became a hit thanks to its very simple melody and KAN’s unpretentious singing, so there’s nothing to be afraid of even if you sing it at karaoke.
You don’t need any tricky leaps or technical vocal techniques at all! In terms of range, most men should be able to sing it comfortably.
If the chorus after the key change feels “a bit high,” try lowering the key by about -1 in the karaoke settings.
Be careful not to set it too low, though—your voice might lose its brightness.
If you lower the key, test it cautiously.
Messenger from Sunday↑THE HIGH-LOWS↓

This is a track included on the first album released in 1995.
It features the simple, singable melody and lyrics characteristic of Hiroto Kōmoto, one of Japan’s leading rock vocalists, and I highly recommend it.
It was released as a single in 2004.
