Salvador Sagasmall gift

Soshina from the duo Shimofuri Myojo has been active on many fronts.
Recently, he’s also been highly acclaimed as an artist, gaining strong support from many fans for his rough, punk-rock-centered style.
Among his songs, the one I especially recommend is Salvador Saga.
This track has the feel of classic, orthodox Japanese punk rock, and while the melody is powerful, the vocal range is set narrowly.
For men who can’t hit high notes, it’s a very singable song.
afterimageflumpool

This is flumpool’s third major single, released in February 2010.
It’s a beautiful ballad characteristic of flumpool, and it was also the theme song for Season 2 of the drama Bloody Monday starring Haruma Miura.
Whether you’re not confident in your singing—or even if you are—the most important thing to watch out for with this song is the key you choose.
In the original key there are many high parts, and in the original recording those highs are sung in chest voice without using falsetto or mixed voice.
So many people will likely need to lower the key when singing it at karaoke.
Check in advance which key suits you, and if possible memorize the lyrics before giving it a try.
Kotodama of Love ~ Spiritual MessageSouthern All Stars

Southern All Stars’ classic song “Kotodama of Love ~Spiritual Message~.” Many people have probably heard it often at karaoke but didn’t know the title.
Among Southern All Stars’ songs, this one boasts one of the narrowest vocal ranges.
Not only is the range narrow, but it also centers on the low-to-mid register where male voices are most comfortable, so you’re unlikely to find it difficult from a vocal production standpoint.
The vocal line is gentle with little ups and downs, so be sure to give it a try.
When love endsRin-ne

Rin-ne is a rapper who enjoys immense support from young people.
Rather than being an underground artist, he’s a rapper backed by the mainstream, and he’s especially popular among women.
Among Rin-ne’s tracks, the one I particularly recommend is “Koi ga Owareba” (“When Love Ends”).
It features highly melodic rap delivered within a narrow vocal range throughout.
The rhythm is simple, and there are no parts that require belting, so it’s easy for anyone to sing.
It’s also a hit with women, so definitely consider adding it to your repertoire.
LOVE ROCKETSThe Birthday

It’s a digital single by the Japanese rock band The Birthday, released in December 2022.
It was selected as the opening theme for the film THE FIRST SLAM DUNK.
Both the vocal melody and the song structure are very simple, making it an easy pick for karaoke even for those who aren’t confident singers.
There aren’t any particularly difficult parts to sing, but if the vocal loses its sense of groove, everything can fall apart.
Make sure to lock in with the rhythm of the backing track and be mindful of where to cut off and stop notes as you sing.
rose flowerkururi

Characterized by its gently whispered vocals, this song is the seventh single released in 2001 by Quruli, a band from Kyoto.
With its mid-tempo, pleasantly strumming guitars, it’s the kind of track that makes your body sway without thinking.
Even if you’re not confident in your vocal power, you should be able to sing this one.

The continuation of this EarthKobukuro

Kobukuro’s ninth digital-only single, released in July 2022.
It’s the official theme song for the Osaka-Kansai Expo scheduled for 2025.
By the way, the title “地球” is read as “Hoshi” (star).
From the very start of the intro, it’s a fun song that makes you feel excited and sense a bright future for our planet! With so many gloomy topics these days, it feels like this is exactly the kind of song we need.
Because of that, I don’t really want to get too technical about “how to sing it,” but just one point: despite the tempo, the song is built on broad, sweeping melodic lines with relatively large note values.
So take care to honor that “big melodic flow” and be careful not to rush the rhythm when you sing.
It might also be fun to sing it together as a group chorus.
