A must-see for low-voiced women! Popular songs that are easy to sing at karaoke

These days, many songs for both women and men are in higher keys, so there are probably many women with lower voices who feel, “I can’t find songs I can sing because my voice is low,” or “I’m looking for lower-key songs for karaoke.” Forcing yourself to sing songs that don’t suit your natural voice can hurt your throat, and it can be stressful when you can’t sing the way you want.

But don’t worry! There are plenty of songs that sound captivating even with a low voice.

In this article, we’ll introduce lots of songs that women with lower ranges can sing comfortably and confidently.

The song “Bunny Girl,” which gained nationwide popularity on TikTok and Instagram, is a signature work by the young singer-songwriter AKASAKI.

Despite its catchy rhythm and flow, the piece surprisingly stays within a narrow vocal range.

For a recent hit, it boasts an exceptionally limited range, so not only women with lower voices but also those who can’t hit high notes at all should be able to sing it without trouble.

If you want it to sound even better, we recommend incorporating a whispery tone known as a “whisper voice.”

Lost itemTatsuya Kitani

Compared to his high notes, Tatsuya Kitani gives a stronger impression with his lower range, doesn’t he? He has a signature song called “Ao no Sumika,” but in fact, this time “Nakushimono” has a narrower range and might be easier for low-voiced women to sing.

There are a few higher parts in the chorus, but you might be able to handle them in chest voice.

However, the last chorus modulates and goes up by a whole step.

When you sing it, try to project with momentum and avoid straining your throat.

EPIPHANYUVERworld

UVERworld’s “EPIPHANY” is pronounced “epiphany,” and it means a sudden insight.

Like SUPER BEAVER’s “Shujinko” (“Protagonist”), this song jumps straight into the melody, so the very first vocal line is crucial.

UVERworld has many high-energy tracks, and “EPIPHANY” is exactly that! The tempo is fast, so I recommend memorizing the lyrics before you start singing.

You might find many parts feel high if you sing in chest voice, but if you keep your facial muscles lifted while singing, the sound will come out more easily—give it a try! The groove is key, so sing it with plenty of momentum!

From a certain future, with love — back number

This is a newly written song for Mos Burger’s new brand commercial “Eating HAPPY,” airing from June 20, 2025.

When it comes to actually singing this song, the range is very wide! The overall range spans A#2 to C#5, with the verses (A and B sections) centered on lower notes, and the chorus shoots way up! The jumps are quite extreme, but the melody is clearly divided by section, so I think it’s relatively easy to practice.

If the high notes in the chorus feel “too high” in chest voice, it’s totally fine to approach them from falsetto! When I teach high notes, I sometimes have students master falsetto first and then transition to chest voice! Once you get used to it, chest voice will definitely become easier to produce, so sing with confidence.

Male Artists (11–20)

Macaroni Enpitsu also has a wide vocal range, and many of their songs might feel “high” for male singers, but for low-voiced female singers, I think there are plenty of comfortable keys.

The song’s range is fairly contained at E3–B4.

Hattori’s vocals blend a gentle, talk-like delivery with some raspy moments, making it a track packed with the best of Macaroni Enpitsu.

The song is short—about three minutes—so it’s easy to learn; definitely consider adding it to your repertoire! By the way, I’m a Macaroni Enpitsu fan too, and I’ve posted a video on Instagram of me singing “Young Adult,” so please check it out if you’d like.

This track has a very cool, band-like vibe! The way the chorus builds is especially satisfying to sing!! Since SUPER BEAVER doesn’t go too high in pitch, I think many of their songs are easier for lower-voiced women to sing.

SUPER BEAVER is really popular, so it sounds like getting live tickets is tough.

They have lots of cool songs, so if you add them to your karaoke repertoire, it’s sure to get everyone hyped!

Kaiju no Hanabuta (Monster's Flower Song)Vaundy

Vaundy’s hugely popular song “Kaijuu no Hanauta” is one my students—regardless of gender—have practiced many times in vocal lessons! It’s a bit high for male singers, but it seems quite comfortable for female singers.

It’s definitely a song worth knowing.

The overall range spans two octaves from D3 to D5, and the pitch climbs significantly toward the latter half.

There are plenty of falsetto parts throughout, so those who are good with falsetto should be able to sing it smoothly.

Just be careful not to forget to breathe, since there are almost no breaks.

The sustained long note in the last chorus feels great, and there are chorus sections as well, making it perfect for getting everyone hyped!
